Training Funds for On-the-Job-Training and upskilling staff

Going pro talent fund:

The Going PRO Talent Fund (GPTF) provides competitive awards for workforce training that addresses skill shortages in the State of Michigan. West Michigan Works! partners with employers to identify skill deficits, define skill needs and develop plans to address the need.

On-the-Job-Training:

On-the-Job-Training (OJT) funds provide employers partial reimbursement for costs associated with training a prospective or new employee. The program reduces new hire training costs, helps employers expand their business and develops qualified staff trained with specialized skills.
